The UdL leads, together with the UPC, the RIS3CAT community proposal for Agro-Food Production Technologies (COTPA). This community wants to become an innovation initiative that leads the transfer of technology to the agrifood production and industrial sector. This community has submitted to the ACCIÓN 2016 call for RIS3CAT communities.

An innovative ecosystem for an intelligent agri-food sector
The PECT "INNO4AGRO: An innovative ecosystem for an intelligent agri-food sector" is a transformation project of the agricultural sector of the Lands of Lleida based on technological innovation and the implementation of platforms and work spaces with high capacity for generating ideas and new business models. The proposal starts from the fact that the city of Lleida acts as a pole of attraction of activity that is fundamental for the economic revitalization of the whole of the Lands of Lleida.
The forest
Primer recurso de la bioeconomía
The objective of this PECT is to promote the transition process towards the bioeconomy model in the territory from the forest as an essential resource; promote innovation, competitiveness (economic growth), territorial rebalancing (jobs in rural areas) and adaptation to climate change in the different stages of the forest value chain, in the conceptual framework of the circular economy.

La producción sostenible inteligente
The general strategic objective of the PECT is to promote research, innovation, the transfer of results and the use of transversal facilitating technologies, especially ICT, in pig production in order to optimize efficiency, improve health, and to transform cattle droppings in fertilizer resources, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
UdL-Impulse Bank of Santander Program
The UdL-Impulse program, funded by Banco de Santander, aims to facilitate the recruitment of researchers to work on agreements for business innovation in collaboration with the university.
