EU PROMOTER OF FREE TRADE AND MULTILATERALISM
The main goal of the Jean Monnet Chair Project: “EU promoter of free trade and multilateralism” is to ensure the deepening of EU studies at the Faculty of Law, Economics and Tourism at the University of Lleida. For this purpose, the team, taking into account the research lines of the professors that are members, has selected a specific topic related to the EU's trade agreements to launch a methodologically innovative project. It will impact not only at the academic level but also at the socioeconomic sector in the province of Lleida, given the fact that the regional economy is based mainly on the agribusiness sector, which is the most important in Catalonia and one of the most important in Spain.
